How does the Random Search Selector work?

• The Selector should be placed in view of security personnel.
• All staff should press the button once on exit.
• A search should be carried out if the red light shows, accompanied by a high tone.
• If the green light shows, accompanied by a low tone, the patron should pass without the search.
• The overall percentage of personnel to be searched can be adjusted from 1%-100%.
• The selection is random, and the odds of being selected for a search are the same every time the button is pressed.
• Patrons using the search selector will be unaware of the settings, so even at 0%, there is a deterrent value.
• Ideally, the search with a Garrett Superscanner should be thorough enough to determine that the person hasn't got any company property in their possession.
• The system can be enhanced by using optional CCTV to oversee and record the search procedures, ensuring search policy is always adhered to.
